Detailed video review One-to-one, never outsourced

Three steps. Then your track gets the deep dive.

01

Send me your track

Upload a high-quality bounce — WAV or MP3 — plus a short note on where you're stuck and what you're aiming for. The more honest, the better the feedback.

02

I review your track

I sit with your track and record a highly detailed video review. You hear me reason through arrangement, mix, and sound choice in real time.

03

You get the video

You'll get a private video link as soon as it's ready, yours to keep. Watch it back, take notes, and put the changes straight into your session.

Everything that matters between a demo and a release.

Arrangement & energy

Where the track loses momentum, where it pays off, and the structural moves that take a loop to a finished record.

Sound selection & design

Whether your leads, basses and pads are pulling their weight — and which sounds are fighting each other in the spectrum.

Mixdown & balance

Low-end clarity, mid-range mud, top-end air, sidechain shape, stereo width — the specific moves to get release-ready loudness.

The honest verdict

What's working, what isn't, and whether this one's worth pushing to release — or worth shelving to free you up for the next track.

For producers who can finish — but feel something's off.

If you can get a track to the end but it never quite sounds like the records you reference, you don't need another tutorial — you need someone with a working A&R ear to tell you exactly where the gap is. This is for producers writing serious trance, progressive or melodic dance music who want a straight, professional take on what's between their work and a release. No fluff, no "great job", just the real read I'd give one of my own tracks before it goes to mastering.

If your track has it, I'll tell you — and I'll point it at the right A&R.

Every track I review, I'm listening as a producer and as the head of a label. Embrace the Journey signs uplifting and melodic trance from artists I genuinely believe in. If your feedback session turns up something I think has a release in it, I'll tell you straight away and walk you through the path to getting it signed — to my label, or to one of the labels I know are looking for what you've made. Feedback is the deliverable. A release is a real, possible outcome.

Ready when you are.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to send you?
A high-quality bounce of your track (WAV preferred, MP3 fine) plus a short note: where you're stuck, what you're aiming for, and any reference tracks. No stems, no project file.
How long until I get my video back?
I'll let you know an expected delivery date right after you order — it depends on what's in my queue that week. I batch sessions so each one gets full attention, never rushed.
How long is the video?
It's a highly detailed review — long enough to walk through arrangement, mix, sound choice and the verdict in full. I take the time the track needs, never rushed.
Which genres do you cover?
Uplifting, progressive and melodic trance is where I work day-to-day, so that's where I'll be most useful. Adjacent genres — melodic techno, big-room, house with trance leanings — are fine too. If it's outside that, drop me a message before ordering.
Do I need to send stems or my project file?
No. The feedback is based on what a label, a DJ or a listener would actually hear — so a stereo bounce is what I work from. If you want hands-on mix surgery instead, that's what the 1-on-1 Masterclass is for.
Will Ashley actually record this himself?
Yes. Every feedback video is recorded by me, personally. This isn't outsourced to an assistant or a ghost-producer — that's the whole point of the service.
What happens if you think my track is ready to release?
I'll tell you in the video, and I'll follow up by email with what I think the right next step is. That might be a release on Embrace the Journey, or a pointer to another label I know is looking. No promises, but every track is heard with that ear on.
