Home Remix Competition — Terms and Conditions

Who's running it. The competition is run by Ashley Wallbridge Academy ("we", "us") in partnership with Blackhole Recordings ("the label"). Questions: info@ashleywallbridgeacademy.com.
The track. The competition is to remix Home by Ashley Wallbridge & MIDI Kittyy, released on Blackhole Recordings.
Who can enter. Anyone aged 18 or over. Free to enter, no purchase needed. Employees of the Academy or the label and their immediate families can't enter.
The remix pack. The stems and MIDI are provided free for the purpose of this competition and for your own personal, non-commercial use. Don't share, resell or redistribute them, and don't release a remix of Home commercially unless the label has agreed to it.
How to enter. Submit your finished remix through the competition page before 23:59 GMT on Friday 20 November 2026. Late entries won't be considered. One entry per person — submitting again before the deadline replaces your earlier entry.
What your remix must be. Your own work, using the official pack. You must own or have cleared the rights to anything else in it. Nothing that's already been released.
Ownership. You keep ownership of your remix. By entering, you give us and the label permission to play excerpts of it and use your artist name to promote the competition.
Judging. Ashley Wallbridge listens to every entry and picks a shortlist. Blackhole Recordings chooses the winner from that shortlist. The decision is final and we won't enter into correspondence about it.
The prize. The winner is offered an official release of their remix on Blackhole Recordings, under the label's standard remix agreement. The winner will need to sign that agreement and supply a full-quality master. If the winner can't or doesn't want to proceed, the label may offer the release to another shortlisted entrant. No cash alternative.
Announcement. We aim to announce the winner by Friday 11 December 2026 by email and on the competition page.
Your data. We'll use your details to run the competition and, if you've opted in, to send you the Academy mailing list. See our privacy policy.
The boring but necessary bit. We may amend or cancel the competition if something outside our control makes it necessary, and we'll say so on the competition page. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
